The strategic problem this addresses
Validated solutions fail at the point of implementation. Governance is unclear, risks and dependencies surface late, stakeholders are informed rather than engaged, and benefits are never measured.
Intended audience
- Change and transformation leads
- Programme and project managers
- Innovation Practitioners with a validated solution
- Service owners responsible for adoption
Prerequisites
- Innovation Processes
- Innovation Practitioner (recommended), or a validated solution ready to implement
Duration and delivery format
2 days. In person or live online, cohort of 12 to 24.
Capability outcomes
By the end of the programme and its workplace application, participants can:
- 01Build a delivery roadmap that sequences work around dependencies and decisions
- 02Design a governance model proportionate to the risk and scale of the change
- 03Maintain a live risk and dependency register
- 04Plan stakeholder engagement and adoption, not just communications
- 05Define a benefits framework that sponsors will recognise as credible
Course experience
Day one builds the delivery roadmap and governance model for a real solution, then stress-tests both against the risk and dependency register.
Day two focuses on people: stakeholder engagement, adoption planning, change communications and the benefits framework that will show whether the change worked.
Methods
